A magical moment at Silver Falls State Park, Oregon while exploring the winter waterfalls.

My new friend Brooke and I were exploring the South Falls area because we are planning an awesome otudoor event there this March, (check out the event here: www.thewildcreatives.com/adventures) and at first I was bummed it was so cold and sunny - then THIS magic happened!

Most of the trails were closed due to the weather, but we made our way slowly down the icy trail at the South Falls. When we reached the bottom and turned around it was the most magnificent streams of light I have ever seen. I told Brooke, I think it's raining sunlight!

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. ”

— Martin Luther King, Jr.

I had to share these few photos and although I'm a day late, I felt like the Martin Luther King, Jr. quote couldn't be more fitting.

If we focus on filling our lives with love I believe it will radiate out to the world around us, just like this beautiful light...it will fill the corners of everything it touches.
